Fresenius, Heinrich

Diss. Leipzig 1872. 24, (1). Simple spinestrip and a library stamp on titlepage. Heinrich Fresenius (1847-1920) was the son of the professor of Chemistry in Wiesbaden, Carl Remigius Fresenius. He studied 1866-68 with his father, continued to Berlin and later 1869 to Leipzig where he was trained under and assistent to H. Kolbe. After his promotion/dissertation 1872 he returned to his fathers laboratory in Wiesbaden. Among others editor of Zeitschrift für Analytische Chemie, a periodical founded by his father. After his fathers death 1897 he took over the leadership of the laboratory together with his brother. Bolton VIII.
