Dåligt skick. [Format: 24,5 x 30,5 cm.] Verlagshaus Bong & Co, Berlin 1896. Periodical with the 1896 issues collected and bound in publishers full cloth hardcover with title embossed on front board, which is also richly decorated. Pages are double columned and double paginated. Pagination reaches 896, with 4 unpaginated pages in the beginning, equaling 452 pages (896/2+4). The book is richly illustrated with plates and in text. Illustrations are black and white, in color and in some cases partly in color. One fold-out found when browsing through the book, there might be more. --- Topics vary; fiction, art, "feuilleton" (literary, cultural or entertaining section of a magazine) etc. --- The spine is cocked and somewhat faded. Spine ends are bumped and worn. Wear shjows also on outer hinges on both sides. Boards (hinges excluded) are in surprisingly good shape. Contents are age toned, except plates which are bright white - apparently of acid free paper. Some pages have tear/s in the top-, foot- or fore-edges, with the last one being most frequently occuring. The binding has become weaker, with some pages on the verge of becoming detached.
