(2) (frontespis) (6) 165 + (4) 115 + (6) 121 + (6) 144 + 151 + 157 (48 plates) + 136 + 111¹ + 181 + (5) 153 (4 plates (1) 1 fold-out plate) in private (Nanna Grönvall Bokbinderi, Malmö - bookbinders sticker in the end of the 1st volume), solid half-cloth hardcovers with red leather title labels to spines and discretely ornamented endpapers. Covers are not bound in, but each part has its title page and contents page. The books are illustrated with black and white plates, alot of tables/diagrams/etc, oscilloscope curves showing various types of colored light etc, etc. The 10 parts contain a vast variety of contents. A couple of examples: a) In part VII there is a list of publications by Niels R. Finsen and his co-workers from july 1893 to july 1903. b) One article covers the results from the treatment of the first 800 cases of Lupus vulgaris. This part contains many tables and 48 plates, each containing double face-portraits (before/after). c) The ground-breaking work "Nye Undersøgelser over Lysets Indvirkning paa Huden" is presented after (the foreword and) just a brief presentation of the institution in volume 1. --- Hardcovers are alittle worn, mostly edge wear. Contents are age toned but otherwise with fairly few flaws - overall the books are well preserved, certainly on the inside.
