Spine a little worn and corners bumped, otherwise a good copy. Inscribed by the famous New York lawyer and philantropist Jerome L. Greene (1909–99) to the world-famous Swedish industrialist, the match king Ivar Kreuger (1880–1932): ’To Ivar Kreuger with heartiest greetings of The season from Jerome L. Greene, New York Christmas 1930’. Less than two years later, Kreuger was found dead in his Paris apartment, in the wake of the great Kreuger Crash.
