Hyggligt skick. [Format: 14 x 21,5 cm. Series: "The Merry-Go-Round Readers", book two.] A- Wjeatpm & Co. Ltd., Exeter (year not stated - other sources say 1938). The book is richly color illustrated by W. Lindsay Cable. --- The book contains many short stories from various authors, like Enid Blyton who contributes with 9 of them. --- The book is worn around corners and spine ends, the spine head is very worn. Front free endpaper with owner's name in ink (Märta Isberg) in the area of the top margin and written (by the same person) at the bottom is "The Jolly Student's Library.". Contents have mostly rather small traces of handling, but margins are totally jammed with words in pencil - translations from English to Swedish. Considering all the writing, the book can at its best be considered to be in fair condition.
