Das neue leben
Inbunden bok.
Dåligt skick. [Format: 11,5 x 17,5 cm.] Brockhaus, Leipzig 1841. (XIV) 158 pages in a contemporary hardcover with a red cloth(?) title label on spine. --- The hardcover is worn around corners and spine, most apparent at the joints. They look cracked from head to foot but that is the surface layer. There are no actual joint cracks. Contents are fairly bright. There's foxing throughout (more or less), but it consists almost entirely of small and light spots. The first (blank) page has some text, neatly written in pen. I believe it says "als erinnerung zur [name]" but I'm not certain (see picture). The main flaw of the book is a folded sheet (pages 59-62) that has de-attached from contents. The binding looks fair otherwise, but it's an old book and probably fragile to some extent. The book has been checked and it has all pages (including the de-attached pages in their place - numerically). The loose sheet is the reason the book is graded as in bad shape. Apart from that its good, or atleast fair. Price is heavily reduced due to the flaw.
