(4) 286 (1) + (4) 285 (2) + (4) 287 (1) + (4) 285 (2) pages in 4 leather spine hardcovers with green, decorated cover papers and marbled endpapers. --- Spines have faded from sun. Cover corners are worn and bumped, some alittle more, some alittle less. Light shelf wear to covers and cover edges. Some foxing to page edges, but contents are remarkably clean, bright and with very few age spots. The only exception is the bookspread containing the title page in volume 3. Traces of handling are moderate in volume 2, and light or close to none in the rest. Overall this is a very well preserved set. Measure (base x height): 12 x 17.5 cm.
