The Glory of the Shia World : the Tale of a Pilgrimage : Translated and Edited from a Persian Manuscript
Inbunden bok.
Hyggligt skick. [Format: 16 x 22,5 cm.] Macmillan, London 1910. (XIV) 279 (1) semi-glossy pages in publishers decorated full cloth hardcover. The book contains 4 color illustrations - reproductions of Persian paintings - on glossy, high quality paper (all with tissue guard), and about 75 black and white illustrations, of which 20-25 are on plates, the rest in text. 2 ex-libris ("E. W." & "Lars Lundberg") on the inside of the front board, along with a small sticker ("Gleerupska, Liund"). --- The major flaw is the wear to the outer hinges on both sides, the back being alittle worse than the front. There are no "tears" (fully cracked sections) yet, but board joints are fragile. Spine is cocked, corners bent. Top corners are also worn. Pressure creasing to foot corners throughout roughlyt 2/3 of the contents, which is otherwise good.
