"Thorough and interesting. – If you're after a book on modern knives and wasnt to cover as wide a field as possible this is the book you want. I was amazed to find how few items I searched for had been missing given the number of knives in the world and most of those that were in there had reasonable supporting information and often a good photograph too.
The 'technical specs' aspect could have been improved (weights, lengths and so on; maybe a guide to price) and the book does tend to concentrate a little too much on the manufacturer's 'specials' rather than their everyday products but, that aside, you get a heck of a lot of book and information for your money!"
