Paperback format with 48 high quality pages covering 34 recipes.

This charming little book opens with an alphabetical list of the recipes contained within. Each recipe opens with the title, an opening note, the list of ingredients plus the method. Metric Conversion tables are given on the last page before a complete list of the titles in the Salmon series on the inside back cover.

Interspersed with sepia photographs, my particular favourite being, 'The Village Cross, Ripple - Gloucestershire', alongside a tasty recipe for - 'Cheesy Leeks with Ham'.

I remember the old Farmhouse Cookery programmes that I used to watch on TV...the recipes taht were covered were similar to those we had at home, but always had an extra twist with some ingredient I did not know of...and neither had Mum!
I have an old Yorkshire TV book on Farmhouse cooking, but seeing I had already started collecting these little Favourite Recipe Books...this was easily one to come on my list.
One thing I note is that there are variants in this book on Farmhouse Recipes of those I have in other cookery books...but why worry at the cost of these little books its worth every penny...
