[Stockholm] Stentryck af C. Müller. [1823] Image area 29 x 41,5 cm. With margins 42,5 x 51 cm. In passe partout. Recent coloring. Large margins. A couple of minor spots. This romantic image shows Rosersbergs castle just north of Stockholm in the province of Uppland. As in many views of the early 19th century, the motif is in the background as a part of a greater pastoral scene. The landscape is the dominant factor. Fredric Verner was a lithographer, painter and a sketch artist. The plate was printed by Carl Müller, who introduced lithography in Sweden with Ludwig Fehr in 1818. Scarce.
