D Edmond Hiebert (1928-1995) a native of Oklahoma, received his collegiate training in Kansas and Iowa. Before and during his studen days at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, he served as a pastor. In 1942 he received his doctor´s degree in theology. He is an ordained minister of the Mennonite Brethren Church. He served as a professor of New Testament at Tabor College, Hillboro, Kansas, from 1942 to 1955. Since 1955 he has been professor of Greek and New Testament at the Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary at Fresno, California.
