Verket består av en tryckt pappkasset som innehåller en häftad textdel (183 sidor), en inbunden bok med bildmaterialet (sidnumrering saknas, ungefär samma omfång som den häftade textdelen) samt två vikta affischer.

Jag är enda ägaren och böckerna är olästa. Mindre märken på pappkassett finns dock, orsakade av flytthantering. Text på svenska, den titeln till trots.

Two volumes, and two folded poster-size broadsheets, contained in a slipcase. Volume I, Text, illustrated stiff wrappers, is 183 pp. with numerous black and white reference illustrations and essays (in English and Swedish) by Massimo Cacciari, Michael Corris, Alain Cueff, David Elliott, Paul Groot, Michael Newman, Marcelo E. Pacheco, Bojana Pejic, Gertrud Sandqvist, Nancy Spector, Gilane Tawadros and Pier Luigi Tazzi. Volume II, Image, cloth, is 145 pp. with 110 four-color and 62 black and white plates (including 18 two-page gatefolds). Also includes artists' and authors' biographies and a checklist of the exhibition. Two large illustrated broadsheets included titled "Chronology 1959-1997" and "Video and Film." 12 x 9 inches. Artists included, among others: Carl Andre, Diane Arbus, Francis Bacon, Matthew Barney, Georg Baselitz, Bernhard and Hilla Becher, Joseph Beuys, Richard Billingham, Christian Boltanski, Louise Bourgeois, Larry Clark, Rineke Dijkstra, Marlene Dumas, Günther Förg, Robert Gober, Feliz Gonzalez-Torres, Eva Hesse, Damien Hirst, Rebecca Horn, Anish Kapoor, Bruce Nauman, Gerhard Richter, Thomas Ruff, Thomas Schütte, Andy Warhol and Rachel Whiteread. Also includes biographies of the artists and a checklist of works in the exhibition.

Published on the occasion of the 1998 exhibition WOUNDS: Between Democracy and Redemption in Contemporary Art at the Moderna Museet, Stockholm, Sweden. As the inaugural exhibition of Moderna Museet's new building, this exhibition, beginning at the start of the 1960s, consciously covers the time in which the Museum has been active. Although it includes a number of works from the permanent exhibition, the Museum staff aimed to construct a new framework for looking at art by taking into account the dramatic social, political, cultural, ideological, and aesthetic changes that have taken place during these years. One of the finest major publications on contemporary art in recent years. Out of print.
