A remarkable experience at the age of sixteen changed his life. Coming home one night from his work and passing through a wood he saw a brilliant light and with it came the vision of a man whom he recognised as his father, killed eight years earlier in the West Stanley Pit explosion. Hunter was not only a great Medium but also a wonderful Healer. He passed into Spirit on 9th May 1965.
