Theatre arts inc. 1937. 1-496 & 595-990 pp + covers. July missing. 11 issues in one volume. Private cloth (Knut Hässlers Bokbinderi-A.-B., Stockholm) with leather titles. Illustrated with photos and drawings in b/w. A monthly magazine covering theatre and film in, mainly, USA and Europe. Contains an 8 pages open letter to Greta Garbo by Mary Cass Canfield. The letter also contains two photo-illustrations (not affected by the below mentioned), one from "Camille" and one from "Conquest". Also contains a 10 pages, 6 plates (not affected by the below mentioned) article about Fred Astaire. Spine slightly faded. Titles with minimal wear. Issue covers with some small faults. Some text on issue covers (price info etc.) has been partially lost during cutting. Some small errors on issue covers. Some minor unevenness here and there, probably emanating from before binding. One issue with a vague fold all across. 13 (of the many) pictures have reminiscences of a few pencil marks along their edges. Many of those 13 also have small and vague spots at the same place. In a handful of them the pencil reminiscences also affect the picture itself. Apart from this, and overall, the impression is that of a very well preserved copy. 27.4x21.5x7.3cm, 2934g
