Hilando Fino: Perspectives from Communitarian Feminism
Pocketbok. 2015. 57 sidor.
Gott skick. This book undertakes an analysis of neoliberal policies as they relate to women; it also addresses the epistemological break that communitarian feminism makes with western feminism. We present at conceptual framework for political action and struggle, beginning from women´s sexed bodies and their meanings in society and history. We go on to reflect on space, a concept which refers to land and territory, and the new efforts to colonize the space of Bolivia. The book also speaks about time. We must reclaim time for women and for our communities. The movement is another of the categories that we address, understanding organized movement as that which gives a political meaning to our existence and our actions. Finally, memory, which when it isn´t present leaves us without tools to defend ourselves against the whims of a market that puts our very lives on sale.
