Krystyna Hellström was born in Poland and lives in Stockholm, Sweden. She studied languages at Warsaw University, Interior Design in Florence, Italy, and History of Art at Lund University in Sweden. She worked with Swedish Television, for Emilio Pucci in his fashion house in Florence, wrote for interior design magazines and traveled in Europe, India and Africa.
• This book is about Ecuador where she spent half a year in all. She thought first that it was about nature, nice vegetables and fruit but Krystyna discovered that this little country has everything, mountains, Amazonia, and tropical beaches but not only. Ecuador witnesses about human history and old cultures that developed their long time before the Incas and before Columbus arrived in South America.
