(40), (1-)592 (593-94), (5 errata) pp. With a few pagination errors: pages 78-79 are paginated as 81-82, pages 363/362 have changed place, and page 565 is paginated as page 545. Bound in a contemporary, worn, calf-binding with four raised bands, covers with blind-tooled decoration and fleur-de-lis. Front cover loose, and rear cover and spine almost loose. Some of the leather has come of from the spine and the covers The first sheet (title and following six pages) is loose. Otherwise a tight binding. Textblock with a few stains and some dampstains in the outer margin, and some contemporary annotations and underlining, otherwise a nice copy. Nice print, mostly italics and some greek. Title page with previous owners’ annotations: ’Lugdunum Batavorum 1642 in Auctione’ and an inscription in Latin. Outer edge with owner’s signature: Cartann9 [Cartannus].
