Count Peter's Receipt Book is a beautiful manuscript containing 600 recipes, from 17th century Swedon. 42 are presented here, with concessions to present-day conditions. Each is given its original heading and wording (translated into English), and several have been scaled down to serve two people. A surprising variety of ingrediants and spices are used. Headings have been hand-lettered to imitate original script, and beautifully illustrated in full color by Ms. Haglund. 103 pages.
