I can honestly say, that it is one of the top ten leadership books that I've ever read. Given the three-part organization of the book, I found it very easy to read and the 'story unfolded' easily for me. The "teams, leadership, coaching" basics foundation allowed it to be
focused/grounded (not trying to take on too much). And, I loved the final section - especially the "syncretism" concept. There is so much in the book that I am sure to personally apply. My book is really dog-eared

The book is worth reading also for a self-study purpose because it is written in a highly instructive and pedagocial way. It offers a range of good illustrations that can help the student understand otherwise intricate leadership subjects.
We have used Thomas Sewerin's books in leadership programs and his way of writing always entice the student reader.
