"It's a British book, 12 projects, at least one of them of an American farmhouse. Project 6 is a zoo, 11 is furniture, 3 is a filling station (modern design, not some ancient building repurposed) and 9 is a farm… I think that's the only project in the book that isn't 1/12 scale. Multiple buildings, very British design- if you've ever watched much British television you've seen something like it. I've never seen an American farm that looked like that, but I still like it.
• Lots of detail about how to build (metric and "inch" measurements both given), each project, instructions and diagrams. Cutting the wood should be your worst problem. You might even find yourself building your own doors and windows.
• With this book they weren't kidding when "for children" was put in the title… while I think the designs are good enough to adapt to ready made doors and other items and well made they're still crude in appearance. A little girl or boy would be happy with these. The designs shouldn't be too hard to adapt."
