Education in his own words: kindergarten, Sunday school, high school, university (he majored in journalism). After a decade of extensive travelling: Mexico, Canada, Peru (on bike), Korea, Japan, Vietnam, India, Ethiopia, Italy, Germany, Denmark, France, Russia, he settled in Amsterdam at the beginning of the '60s. At the age of 35 he found his raison d'etre - and a prolific flow of very personal work began.
